Accident - Three dead in serious accident near Naumburg

Three people have died in a car accident in the south of Sachsen-Anhalt in the early hours of Monday. Two women and one man were involved, according to the police. The car was carrying five people - all in their early twenties - on a country road near Naumburg when the accident occurred.

The car is said to have left the road for unknown reasons in a double curve and rolled down or slid down a slope. So far, the police have been unable to provide any details about the exact accident sequence.

Three of the five people were still at the scene of the accident and died. There is currently no information on the severity of injuries to the two other car occupants.

The accident investigation is still ongoing.

The car involved in the fatal accident was from Germany. The accident took place on a traffic-filled road in Saxony-Anhalt, near Naumburg. Despite the car accident, regular traffic in the area was not significantly affected by police diversions. Regrettably, the police are dealing with yet another car accident case in their city.
