- Threat and assault: Drunk in custody

A drunken man committed several crimes in Aarbergen (Rheingau-Taunus district). First, the 42-year-old threatened an employee at a supermarket, as the police reported. He had been banned from the store. A patrol was called, but the man did not follow their instructions and was arrested in handcuffs.

On the way to the police station on Saturday evening, the man allegedly assaulted an officer. Attempts to bite and spit were prevented by the officers.

An alcohol test showed a reading of three promille in the suspect's blood, the police reported. He was held in custody for the night and will face charges of trespassing, threats, and assaulting a law enforcement officer.

During the police operation, the man continued to cause trouble, as he allegedly assaulted an officer on the way to the station. Following his arrest, the drunken suspect's blood test revealed a high alcohol level of three promille.
