Playing basketball - Third Basketball Finals: Alba Welcomes Bayern

This Wednesday at 20:30 (Dyn), the underdogs of the German basketball championship, Alba Berlin, will have home court advantage for the first time. They're hosting Bayern Munich in the Uber Arena. Monday saw a surprising win by Alba in Munich, which tied the series between the two leading German teams at 1:1. The first team to win three games will be crowned national champions.

Injury concerns persistently plague the Berliners, but they pulled through unexpectedly in the second game. Game four is due to take place in Berlin on Friday. If necessary, a fifth match will follow in Munich on Sunday.
