Thieves steal grave decorations from Kaiserslautern cemetery

With heavy tools and seemingly indiscriminately: figures and jewelry are stolen from many graves in a cemetery.

Theft - Thieves steal grave decorations from Kaiserslautern cemetery

Unknown individuals have robbed numerous graves at Kaiserslautern's main cemetery. According to the police, the thieves gained entry to the cemetery grounds between Thursday and Friday night and apparently stole "randomly" bronze figurines and grave decorations. Approximately 200 graves were reportedly affected.

The police reportedly used tools such as angle grinders during the incident. The extent of the damage has yet to be determined by the authorities.

The stolen items included both bronze figurines and various forms of grave decoration. The incident occurred in Kaiserslautern's main cemetery, situated in Rhineland-Palatinate. This crime has led to significant damage, with tools like angle grinders reportedly used by the thieves. The Rhineland-Palatinate police are currently investigating the case, aiming to prevent further grave decoration thefts in the area.
