Unknown persons have stolen 37 Christmas trees from a sales area in Sondershausen(Kyffhäuserkreis). The thieves took the trees, worth around 900 euros, from a fence in a supermarket parking lot, according to a police statement on Saturday. It can be assumed that they used a van to transport them away, said a police officer.

The thieves struck on Saturday night. However, the thieves did not steal all the trees in the sales area, as the police officer said: "They picked out the nicest ones."
