Thief falls into mud during getaway attempt

A man, aged 46 and under the influence of alcohol, attempted to steal a donation box from an ice cream shop in Menden (Märkischer Kreis). However, he fell into a mud puddle during his getaway, causing him to lose the box. Police reported this incident on Monday.
