August is wrapping up, but the heat isn't letting up, keeping summer vibes alive. The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued a heat advisory for nearly all of Germany on their site, predicting temps up to 35 degrees. Only the northwest and some of the south are exempt.

Gloomy skies dominate the west and northwest. As per DWD, there's a possibility of scattered, sometimes heavy showers and thunderstorms in the mountains during the day, sometimes with strong winds. They also hint at a slim chance of storms and thunder in the Alps and across southern German mountains. Fog alerts are in effect for certain regions in Bavaria.
