- There's another blaze in Pinneberg County.

Again, in Hasloh (Pinneberg district), hay bales have caught fire. Around 20 bales were ablaze on a field along the B4 federal road, as reported by the fire department. During the extinguishing operations, the federal road was temporarily fully closed.

The damage is in the low four-digit range, according to a police spokesperson. Arson cannot be ruled out.

There have been other incidents since the beginning of August. Just last week, 200 round bales caught fire in Hasloh, according to the fire department. The largest incident was in Bilsen, where around 700 hay bales went up in flames.

The investigation into the recent hay bale fires in Hasloh considers arson as a possibility, given other incidents such as the one where other round bales also caught fire. Including the incidents in Bilsen, where a significant number of hay bales were burned, underscores the need for vigilance.
