Theater prize "Der Faust" is awarded in Hamburg
The German Theater Prize "Faust 2023" will be awarded on Saturday (19:00) at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg. The prize for lifetime achievement this year goes to opera director Klaus Zehelein, that has already been decided. The Fundus Theater in Hamburg will be awarded the Perspective Prize of the Federal States. The unendowed prize is awarded in a total of twelve categories. It honors outstanding artistic achievements that reflect the diversity of the theater landscape in Germany. The theater prize is organized by the German Stage Association and the German Academy of Performing Arts in cooperation with the Cultural Foundation of the Federal States.
