The upcoming Rhineland-Palatinate Day is set to happen from May 23rd to 25th in 2025, specifically in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. This was revealed by Minister President Malu Dreyer (SPD) and Mayor Marc Weigel (FWG) on a certain Friday. The designated host for the Palatinate winegrowing community was the Hambacher Castle – a significant icon representing the legacy of the German democracy movement – back in 2010. This festival has been a tradition since 1984, with Bad Ems taking the reins as the last host in 2023.

Dreyer, a native of Neustadt, who is also a minister president, stated in a release that the Rhineland-Palatinate Day is a state festival that brings together enthusiasm and life's joy while enabling citizens to "fully appreciate their country's rich democracy history, a bright future, and its unique identity." Weigel, the beaming mayor of the city, shared the pride and anticipation of Neustadt, sharing that they're thrilled to be able to interweave the celebrations of their 750th city birthday with the anticipated event and extend the invitation to the entire country to join in the festivities.
