The weather in Hesse remains frosty - risk of icy conditions
People in Hesse must continue to prepare for wintry weather. According to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach, it will remain cloudy to overcast on Friday. Light snowfall is possible south of the Main. Maximum temperatures will reach minus two to plus two degrees during the day, and minus three degrees in the mountains.
According to the DWD, there may be some light snowfall south of the Main during the night on Saturday. In many places, however, it will remain dry. There is a risk of icy conditions with low temperatures of minus three to minus seven degrees. It will remain cloudy and cold on Saturday. According to the meteorologists, a few snowflakes are possible in northern Hesse in particular. It will remain frosty at minus three to minus one degree.
Despite the preparation needed, the chilly weather in Hesse during winter continues to pose a risk of icy conditions. As predicted by the DWD, light snowfall may still occur south of the Main this weekend.
