The weather in Hesse: Frosty, but dry in many places
Hesse can expect frost and icy conditions until midday on Thursday. There will also be some new snow from the Rhine to northern Hesse, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Otherwise it will be dry but cloudy. Daytime highs will reach minus one to plus three degrees.
In the night to Friday, the clouds will increase and there will be light snowfall south of the Main line. Lows will reach minus one to minus six degrees, in the mountains up to minus seven degrees.
Hesse's weather during winter often features frost and dry conditions, as seen in many places. Despite the approaching Thursday, the German Weather Service predicts some new snow from the Rhine to northern Hesse.
