Weather Prediction: Weather Forecast: - The weather continues to fluctuate: occasional showers, but no risk of flooding.

In northern Germany, June begins with a blend of sun, clouds, and rain during the weekend. With temperatures reaching up to 25 degrees Celsius on Saturday, and between 18 and 22 degrees at sea, the weather is expected to remain unpredictable. "There won't be any significant changes in the character of the weather," commented Karsten Kürbis, a Hamburg-based meteorologist to the German Press Agency. The possibility of thunderstorms or extreme weather, like in other areas of Germany, is not foreseen.

The morning will largely be dry on Saturday, with intermittent cloud cover emerging in the afternoon. As Kürbis explains, by mid-day, "it will feel like we're in a pressure cooker, and clouds will form. There might be showers and thunderstorms, which could be quite powerful in certain spots." The meteorologist predicts up to 25 liters of rain per square meter in some regions. As of now, no large rain area like the one that hit on Friday night is anticipated in the north.

In recent months, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has experienced increased rainfall, according to the state's environmental ministry's statement on Friday. Schwerin, one of the affected regions, recorded 507 millimeters of rain, which is approximately double the usual amount. Despite this, there exists no immediate risk of flooding for significant waterways like the Elbe, as Environmental Minister Till Backhaus (SPD) affirmed.
