In Hesse this week, there's a return of summer-like heat. However, meteorologists predict thunderstorms and showers by Monday afternoon, possibly bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and hail. As per the German Weather Service in Offenbach, temperatures will fluctuate between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, with cooler highs of 25 degrees in higher altitudes. Excluding the storm zones, winds will be gentle and inconsistent.
On the following day, Tuesday, forecasts show partly cloudy skies. There's a possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon hours. Temperatures will range from 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, with cooler temperatures of around 23 degrees Celsius in higher altitudes.
In Hessen, where the summer heat has returned this week, the German Weather Service in Offenbach also predicts that some parts of the region might experience hail during the anticipated thunderstorms and showers on Monday. Despite the storms, Hessen's meteorologists anticipate that excluding the storm zones, winds will remain gentle and inconsistent.
