Unemployment figures in Bremen saw a decline, with 142 fewer jobless individuals making it to roughly 40,500 in May. The Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency reported this change on Tuesday. This decrease led to a reduction in the state's unemployment rate of 0.2 percentage points, resulting in 10.9% of the population being unemployed. When looking at the same time period a year ago, the unemployment figures reportedly had over 1,900 more people unemployed, with a 10.5% rate. The agency gathered the data up to May 15 for its statistics.
