- The star performers of the club are acknowledged with commemorative bronze plaques.
To celebrate its 125th birthday, Eintracht Frankfurt established a "Walk of Fame" to pay tribute to notable achievements and influential figures in the club's past. Six memorial stones labeled "Everlasting - Pinnacle Moments and Esteemed Personalities of the Eagles" were set up in front of the primary stand at Frankfurt's football stadium and exposed.
The Eagles recognized the establishment of the club in 1899, its sole German title win in 1959, and its initial DFB Cup triumph in 1974. They additionally recognized club icons Jürgen "Grabi" Grabowski, Bernd "Holz" Hölzenbein, and Bernd "Dr. Hammer" Nickel, all of whom have departed recently or not long ago, with Hölzenbein being the most recent in April of this year. Both Grabowski and Hölzenbein were components of the West German national team that clinched the World Cup in 1974.
Eintracht Frankfurt expressed that they will set up additional bronze plaques in the future to exhibit the club's extensive history at the stadium. "Certainly, we all hope that many more will contribute," said CEO Axel Hellmann. Nevertheless, he also emphasized that just extraordinary events and personalities will be enshrined on the "Walk of Fame".
