The lower-league female soccer squad of Hamburger SV is hosting their home games this season close to the Volksparkstadion. As per the club's declaration, they'll be playing on pitch 6 at the HSV campus, making their debut on Sunday (2:00 PM) against FSV Gütersloh.

This move is a result of their promising sports progress and another significant stride in perpetually boosting the women's division of HSV, as mentioned in the press release. The new location boasts a notably larger seating capacity of approximately 630 standing spots, surpassing their previous home venue in Norderstedt.

"Furthermore, the Hamburger SV women are now situated geographically nearer to the very heart of HSV, the Volksparkstadion," expressed HSV coordinator Saskia Breuer. "We're delighted to have found a suitable arrangement for this season and can now commence our first home game with full vigor."

The Paul-Hauenschild sports facility in Norderstedt will still serve as the training ground for the HSV women and the venue for the junior teams. Meanwhile, the Sportpark Eimsbüttel, where the team played some home matches last season, is undergoing renovations at the moment.

The women's soccer team of Hamburger SV will play their first home game of the season on Sunday, which is their debut against FSV Gütersloh. After the match, the team will continue training at the Paul-Hauenschild sports facility in Norderstedt.
