The flood situation in Regensburg is starting to cool down. The safety precautions in Werftstraße, a street that was significantly impacted by the flooding, have now been finished, according to a city press spokesperson on Saturday morning. The extent of the damage to the street is still unknown. No additional procedures are planned at this time. The flood defenses will remain in place for now, even as the Donau river water level continues to drop. The declared state of emergency also won't be lifted for the time being.
