Football match to take place - The S-Bahn network enhances its offerings during the European Championships.
For better transportation during the European Championship, more trains will be added to the S1 line between Gesundbrunnen and Schöneberg, and the S5 line between Westkreuz and Mahlsdorf during late games. The railway authority also mentioned that trains will operate in the city center during evenings and on weekends during the tournament, with bigger trains. They will also have additional staff, approximately 50 people, at Berlin Hauptbahnhof to help fans and visitors find their way around the station.
Berlin is hosting six games during the Championship, including the final, and has set up a fan mile on Straße des 17. Juni where the German national team's matches will be shown.
