In long-distance rail traffic, significant delays have occurred due to a tilted excavator in Hamburg. The route between Hamburg Central Station and Hamburg-Harburg was closed for six and a half hours on Saturday, as a railway spokesperson reported. Some long-distance trains were cancelled, while others were delayed. An excavator on a construction site in the track area became tilted, leading to the closure of the adjacent, operational track, the spokesperson said.

The excavator's mishap on the construction site disrupted the flow of traffic on the nearby Railway. The closure of the track between Hamburg Central Station and Hamburg-Harburg lasted for six and a half hours, affecting long-distance Railway services.
