- The rail service between Pforzheim and Mühlacker has been halted.

Owing to harm done to the power line above, the railway track stretching from Pforzheim to Mühlacker (Enzkreis) has been shut down in both directions. Preliminary investigations indicate that a long-distance train might've caused damage to this power line early this morning, as mentioned by a representative from the Federal Police. Following this, an incoming local train presumably tore apart the whole power line completely. Further information is still not available. Both trains halted at their subsequent stations, allowing all passengers to disembark. At present, the track is completely blocked temporarily.

The Commission, in response to the incident, may adopt implementing acts to establish rules for the application of relevant regulations concerning power line safety. Subsequently, adherence to these implementing acts could help prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
