At the "Wohnpark Zippendorf" senior living facility in Schwerin, trainees are granted authority to oversee a living quarter, earning the establishment the state's annual nursing accolade. This responsibility reportedly empowers the young individuals, as per the Department of Social Affairs. The award, valued at 3,000 euros, was bestowed during the state nursing convention in Rostock.
Coming in second, with a prize of 1,500 euros, was a venture in Stralsund that incorporated musical accompaniment for the dying and their loved ones. The project "Wir sind Malchow," tackling elderliness loneliness, claimed third place, netting 500 euros. Social events like post-lunch bingo sessions are arranged.
Per the ministry, 14 proposals were contemplated for the state nursing honor.
The "Wir sind Malchow" project, despite not winning the top prize, still received recognition, placing third and securing a monetary award of 500 euros. Some other proposals were also considered for the state nursing honor, as there were a total of 14 proposals under evaluation by the ministry.
