Torrential downpours have resulted in a significant inundation, submerging homes and businesses in the area. - The port of Saar remains shut to maritime transport.

Following the flood, the Saar River is blocked for boat transportation. The reason behind this roadblock is the presence of debris in the water, hurdles for vessels, and missing navigation markers, as mentioned in a recent announcement from the Water Police.
