- The Organization backs 327 artistic and cultural ventures.

The Governmental Arts and Culture Organization of the Region sponsors 327 creative and cultural initiatives in secluded areas this year, allocating 800,000 euros. The requests surpassed the accessible finances, the institute declared. A sum total of 769 proposals were submitted, with a worth over 2.3 million euros. Among the recipients were stage performances, reverberations, and symphonies as well as ventures for children and adolescents. This included a collection of chamber music concerts in Waldenburg Castle, a portrayal of the almost extinct tradition of Upper Lusatia by Neugersdorf Theater Shed, and an intervention by artist Sebastian Jung in Oschatz.

The Mini-Projects Subsidy seemingly initiated in the latter half of 2019. It provides subsidies ranging from 500 to 5,000 euros for minor art and cultural projects, enhancing communal involvement reverently. The deadline for applications this year concluded, it was intimated. Applications for the succeeding year can presumably be sent approximately at the initiation of 2025.

The Governmental Arts and Culture Organization announced the introduction of a Cultural Project fund within the Mini-Projects Subsidy, aimed at supporting smaller initiatives. This new project will provide financial assistance to local communities, fostering a deeper connection with art and culture.

In addition to the major initiatives, the Cultural Project fund will offer opportunities for lesser-known artists and community-driven projects, further enriching the region's cultural landscape.
