Allegations of radical behavior - The Office for the Protection of the Constitution monitors AfD parliament members.
An MP from Neu-Ulm has brushed off accusations, calling them political campaigns that should be dismissed. In response to inquiries, Schmid stated, "The continuous attacks from the Constitutional Protection on the AfD are just political campaigns to be rejected."

The Interior Ministry believes these conditions are met by Schmid. Schulze, the Green faction leader, said, "The answer from the Interior Ministry to my inquiry demonstrates the significant danger Schmid poses to our democracy."
