- "The Nickname" - Continued with Fitz in Winter

Continuation for "The First Name" and "The Last Name": With "The Nickname", director Sönke Wortmann presents the third part of his social comedy series about choosing a name in a seemingly harmonious large family this winter. The film is set to hit theaters on December 19, as announced. The ensemble cast, including Iris Berben, Christoph Maria Herbst, Florian David Fitz, Caroline Peters, Justus von Dohnányi, and Janina Uhse, will reprise their roles.

In the third installment, the large family reunites in the Austrian Alps, where Anna (Uhse) and Thomas (Fitz) are planning their wedding. However, the rest of the family brings chaos to the idyllic setting.

In the 2018 comedy "The First Name", the wish to name a baby "Adolf" caused a family uproar. Two years later, director Wortmann ("The Miracle of Bern") disrupted the seemingly harmonious family life with the choice of a last name in "The Last Name".

People eagerly anticipate the return of the ensemble cast for the movie "The Nickname," where director Sönke Wortmann continues his comedy series about name choices in a large family. Upon learning about the family's reunion in the Austrian Alps and the upcoming wedding between Anna and Thomas, many people start making their plans to attend the event.
