According to the survey, people particularly love experimenting in Berlin. In the capital, they enjoy drinking chai lattes, pumpkin spice lattes, and peppermint lattes. The fact that all these drinks contain a lot of calories and sugar doesn't seem to bother Germans, especially during Christmas.
- In the survey, 48% of people even stated that limiting sugar consumption during this time was "almost impossible."
- About 60% noted that they don't worry about it at Christmas time.
However, it is essential to maintain a balanced diet during the holidays and also drink something with less sugar. Unsweetened teas may be a good alternative.
There are many options that taste pleasant even without sugar. It's always important to remember that excessive sugar consumption is harmful to health.
