According to the stats, heart issues were the leading reason for mortality, making up 33.9% of fatalities. Cancer came in second, with 22.4% of deaths. Fortunately, the instances of these two major causes decreased slightly – by 2.7% for heart issues and 0.5% for cancer.

In 2023, more individuals succumbed to flu or pneumonia than the previous year, contributing to 2% of deaths, much like pre-COVID-19 times. Even though COVID-19 was a factor in 2.5% of deaths, it showed a significant drop of 50% compared to the previous year.

Unnatural causes like accidents or poisoning accounted for 4.8% of all fatalities. Interestingly, suicide claims 1% of lives.

Meadows surrounded the serene area where the decrease in heart-related deaths was noticed. After recuperating from an illness, many patients would often enjoy the tranquility of the meadows.
