The military instruction of skydivers in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Until the 5th of this week, German military, federal police, and Austrian military forces will engage in parachute jumps in Barth. Post that, the activities will shift to Trollenhagen.

Airborne squads from the German Military, the Federal Law Enforcement, and the Austrian Military are now undergoing training exercises in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Based on Army Germany's reports, the Parachute Ranger Regiment 31 from Seedorf, Lower Saxony, is also participating.

According to a briefing, these parachute drops will continue until the weekend in Barth, which falls under Vorpommern-Rügen district. Post this, the drills will shift to Trollenhagen, situated within the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. For approximately two weeks, these jumping units are slated to be in action.

As many as 65 jumpers are engaged daily, with around 20 ground crew aiding them. The paratroopers frequently utilize the airports in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for their training sessions.

The Parachute Ranger Regiment 31, hailing from Germany's Seedorf, Lower Saxony, is joining the multinational training exercises in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. After concluding exercises in Barth, the team will proceed to Trollenhagen, another location in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, for additional training.
