In western Swabia, Upper Allgau, and Upper Bavaria, the highest warning level 4 is in effect, meaning rainfall of up to 120 liters per square meter could be expected. For Middle and Upper Franconia, warning level 3 has been issued with estimates of 40 to 70 liters of rainfall. Throughout the region, there's a chance of strong thunderstorms starting from the afternoon in northern Bavaria.
