The Federal Employment Agency's regional branch in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is set to release job data at 10 am on Tuesday. Industry analysts project a drop in the number of people unemployed in the area compared to April. The reason? The region's tourism season is starting, and industries like tourism, hospitality, and construction are seeking additional workers. Even outdoor workplaces in sectors like agriculture and construction are expected to see an increase in activity.

In the previous month of April, the number of unemployed individuals in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern declined by 3,400, reaching around 64,700 people. The unemployment rate also fell by 0.4 percentage points, reaching 7.9%.
