Radical ideologies - The Home Affairs Committee handles the racist Sylt video incident.

About a week after a video of kids shouting racist slogans at a bar on Sylt in the North Sea sparked controversy, the Interior and Legal Affairs Committee of Schleswig-Holstein state parliament will address the issue on Wednesday (2:00 pm). The state administration will report on the incident and the ongoing investigations regarding similar events in Pahlen and Schenefeld that occurred in January 2024.

This video, filled with racial hatred, created fury across the nation, prompting similar reports from other federal states. Apart from this, the committee plans to discuss a murder case that took place in Lübeck in September 2023.
