This year's Hessentag festival in the northern Hessian city of Fritzlar finishes up on a Sunday afternoon. Kicking off around 1 pm (13.00 Uhr), more than 120 groups from various regions of the state will showcase Hessian customs and modern flair along a two-kilometer route. With the theme "Experience Hessen," the 61st Hessentag in the magnificent cathedral and imperial city of Fritzlar has been entertaining visitors for ten whole days, drawing an estimated half a million folks.
