Hesse's Sporting Governing Body - The Hessen Paralympic Squad exhibits high spirits
The Hessian State Athletic Association commends the achievements of its competitors at the Paralympic Games. "I'm really pleased with the performances of our twelve contenders who have represented Hessen admirably," stated Vice President of Performance Sports Annika Mehlhorn. In total, the Hessian representatives collected six medals in Paris. "The medals tally serves as evidence that we're heading in the right direction with our support system," Mehlhorn added.
Shooting athlete Natascha Hiltrop (SV Lengers) returned home with two golden medals. "She displayed an outstanding global performance and convincingly demonstrated her extraordinary mental fortitude," said the director of the Olympic training center Hessen, Markus Kremin. Hiltrop, who trains at the federal training center in Wiesbaden, had previously secured medals in Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2021.
