- The "Great" Castle Night - the organizers are satisfied
Following the "Potsdam Palace Night", organizers express satisfaction. The festival was "magnificent," said a spokesperson for the event. Organizers had expected around 35,000 visitors in total. On Friday and Saturday evenings, 50 different artists performed.
Some events had to close entry early. For instance, not everyone who wanted to attend the Hans Zimmer concert at the Orangery Palace found a seat or standing spot. Other shows were sparsely attended.
One of the artistic highlights was the One-Man-Show "Lasca Fox" with plenty of groove and saxophone. However, the announced drone fireworks fizzled out a bit.
There were also hiccups elsewhere. At the falconry show, not a single bird took flight. The announced orchestra for the Hans Zimmer concert turned out to be a string quartet.
Despite some challenges, such as early closures at certain events and a string quartet instead of an orchestra for the Hans Zimmer concert, the overall Festival was still a resounding success. Despite the sparse attendance at some shows, the "One-Man-Show 'Lasca Fox'" received high praise for its groove and saxophone performance.
