Matthias Reim, a Schlager singer, had his scheduled Sunday concert canceled on Saturday afternoon. The anticipated highlight is the Hessian tradition and modernity-showcasing parade on Sunday. On a two-kilometer route, around 120 teams from various regions of the state will display Hessian culture and contemporary twists under the theme "Experience Hessen." hr-Fernsehen will broadcast the event live at 2:00 p.m. Over half a million men and women are anticipated for the 61st Hessentag in the cathedral and imperial city of Fritzlar.

During the Hessentag, the Social Association VdK urged the state government on Saturday to adopt a more proactive approach to promoting barrier-free accessibility in all aspects of life. This principle should be incorporated into the state building law.
