Severe Weather Approaching: Get Ready for a Tempest - The flooding conditions on the River Lein have improved.
In Baden-Württemberg's Ostalbkreis region, the flood scenario has slightly improved. As per a crisis team representative on Monday morning, the Lein river's flow rate has reduced, leading to the downgrading of the situation from an extreme flood event to a once-a-century event. Many residents can now go back home after being evacuated due to the floods. Nevertheless, there are still some houses submerged. The spokesperson didn't mention any warning being lifted in the area. This is a clear indication of improvement. Over 200 people were relocated due to the flooding.
