The flood situation in Bavaria has improved.
Right now, the flood is happening mostly on the Danube. Things are looking better on this river, as the water levels of its tributaries are supposedly decreasing quite a bit. According to reports, Ingolstadt will experience its highest warning level this coming Tuesday night. Kelheim is only seeing a little increase to the fourth warning level, which is the same as the flood from August 2005.
Passau is expected to have a Danube level that's lower than the 2002 flood mark. Initially, it was believed that the area would see levels similar to the 2002 flood. However, the high water levels in the section between Kelheim and Passau are expected to last until Wednesday.
