- The fire in the empty doctor's house caused <unk> 200,000 euros in damage

After a fire in an abandoned doctors' office in the municipality of Sinntal (Main-Kinzig district), police are not ruling out arson as the cause. The estimated property damage is around 200,000 euros. No one was injured in the fire, according to police.

Upon arrival at the scene, police and firefighters found the upper floor of the two-story building already in flames. Up to 100 emergency services personnel assisted in the firefighting efforts, which reportedly lasted into the early morning hours.

According to police, the building was an abandoned house that people regularly gained access to and slept in. The criminal police in Gelnhausen have taken over the investigation.

The initial investigation points towards arson as a possible motive for the fire, given the location and circumstances. If proven to be arson, the perpetrators could face severe criminal charges.
