Attendees of the upcoming Chamber Opera Festival at Schloss Rheinsberg can catch a train back to Berlin after certain events. The Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn (NEB) and the Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (VBB) are working together to offer special trains for the return trip, as mentioned in a recent announcement from Musikkultur Rheinsberg. This arrangement is expected to enhance the experience of the two major open-air opera performances: "Iphigenie in Aulis" with its premiere on July 6th, and "Dido - Queen of Carthage," which premieres on July 25th.

The summer festival, known as Musikkultur Rheinsberg, is set to occur this year from June 22nd to August 31st, with the tagline "The Shadows of Troy." Last year, over 7000 visitors from all around Germany attended this event. The NEB's website has a list of the departure times for these special trains. They typically leave around 40 minutes after the event ends and stop at Oranienburg, Gesundbrunnen, and Lichtenberg stations. It was also clarified that the train fare is not included in the event ticket and must be purchased separately — following the VBB tariff.
