Spreewald's Diverse Nature - The Federal President departs on a mission alongside diplomats.

The gathering featured Brandenburg's Minister President Dietmar Woidke (CDU), who occupied a spot facing Steinmeier. In the background, a musician played the tune "Märkische Heide, Märkischer Sand" on a continuous loop. Some of the diplomats enjoyed a couple of beers on the vessel following a day filled with stops in Lausitz.

Steinmeier started his visit by touring the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) with the diplomats on Thursday. There, they witnessed a 3D printer and VR glasses in a research lab. Lunch was served in Branitz Park in Cottbus afterwards. The day concluded with an evening reception at Schloss Lübbenau.
