The enigmatic demise of a 36-year-old at the start of the year in Reichenbach, Vogtland district, is currently under investigation by the Zwickau Regional Court. This trial aims to establish the liability of a 25-year-old. As per a psychiatric assessment, the individual is diagnosed with schizophrenia, as confirmed by a representative from the Zwickau Public Prosecutor's Office to DPA. Both the deceased and the accused hail from the Russian republic of Chechnya.

In the middle of January, a vehicle carrying six passengers plunged into the Göltzsch river. Upon discovery, authorities found the 25-year-old woman and two minor children on the riverbank with minor injuries. They were subsequently transferred to hospitals. The 36-year-old and a young boy were discovered in a nearby shop, where the man succumbed to his grave wounds.

Preliminary investigations suggest multiple stab wounds inflicted by a knife, which has resulted in the 25-year-old being placed under suspicion. Warrants for his arrest on charges of manslaughter have been issued. The precise motive behind the incident remains unclear.

As per the available information, the trial has been scheduled for September 19 at the Zwickau Regional Court.

The tragic incident led to the death of the 36-year-old, leaving his family and friends in mourning. The investigation is considering the 25-year-old's liability in this fatal case.
