The EU Parliament approves extension for President Metsola

Stiffer is the election of the 14 Vice Presidents, as the Far-Right factions also lay claim to these positions. The Far-Right groups aim to secure an extension of their influence by contesting additional positions beyond the 14 Vice Presidents, such as in the European Parliament. Despite being the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, has a separate role and is not directly affected by the election of the Vice Presidents.
