Turbulent weather system - The Environment Minister shares that it's still not safe, as flood waters haven't completely receded.

The ongoing flood situation in Bavaria is a massive undertaking for everyone involved, said Glauber. His ministry's flood working group will coordinate efforts across the state during the weekend to prevent further flooding. As a result, dams and reservoirs will be lowered to accommodate more water.

With expected rain and thunderstorms, particularly in southern Bavaria, where heavy rainfall may occur, the Free State's flood warning service anticipates increased water levels on Monday for the Alpine foothills. The experts believe that warning levels three and four might be reached once more, potentially leading to larger floods in built-up areas due to the heightened risk.
