After a portion of the Carolabridge in Dresden crumbled, the city is unable to receive district heating. This issue might persist for the entire day, as per a representative from the fire department. The operator is giving their all to resolve the predicament. An alert was disseminated through the federal warning system's modular notification system by the fire department. During the incident, two district heating lines were also damaged, and steam was escaping.

As per the incident control room, the pedestrian and cycle path, along with the tram tracks, have been impacted. The fire department in Dresden mentioned that this covers a stretch of 100 meters. Two district heating lines have been damaged, resulting in the release of steam. So far, no reports of injuries have surfaced. The Dresden public transportation company confirmed that no tram was on the bridge at the time.

The damaged district heating lines issue originated from the Carolabridge in Germany. The fire department in Germany's Dresden is currently managing the aftermath of the Carolabridge incident.
