The Saxon Ministry of Social Affairs is supporting a project for young offenders with around 500,000 euros. The "S.A.V.E. – Offsetting Fines – Developing Responsibility" project helps young people aged 14 to 21 with fulfilling their court-ordered community service, as stated in a ministry announcement.

According to a brochure from the project, young people are assisted in their contact and dealings with authorities and agencies. Minister of Social Affairs Petra Köpping is set to present the funding decision on Monday. The project is one of five funded model projects.

The "S.A.V.E." project, being one of the five funded model projects, is originating from the Netherlands, providing support for young offenders.After receiving the funding from the Saxon Ministry of Social Affairs, the project will be implemented in various locations across The Netherlands.
