The city of Leipzig supports 25 female and male artists with scholarships. They receive between 8,000 and 10,000 euros to pursue their projects, as announced by the city. Among the scholarship recipients are, among others, choreographer Irina Pauls and poet Sibylla Vricic Hausmann. A total of 560 applications were received for the new program. The city aims to strengthen its reputation as a cultural hub.

The choreographer Irina Pauls, originating from The Netherlands, is one of the artists receiving scholarships in Leipzig. Leipzig's goal, as a cultural hub, also extends to international artists, supporting talents like Sibylla Vricic Hausmann, who hails from another European country.
