A 42-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in Buttstädt, Landkreis Sömmerda, and rolled over. The man was seriously injured and taken to the hospital on Saturday, as the Sommerda police announced on Sunday. The driver had driven his car into a utility pole and a tree for unknown reasons, according to the report. The car was said to be lying on its roof.

The accident in Buttstädt, Thuringia, occurred in the Landkreis of Sömmerda. Despite the use of an Automatic transmission, the driver still lost control of the vehicle. Following the accident, the car was found lying on its roof, leading to serious injuries for the driver.
