- The Cabinet of Saxony invites the population to the government district

Saxony's government is offering a behind-the-scenes look during the Open Door Day on Sunday, August 4th. Under the theme "See and be seen," citizens can visit the ministries in Dresden from 11:00 to 18:00 and engage in conversation with the ministers, as announced by the State Chancellery. In addition to Minister President Michael Kretschmer (CDU), numerous other members of the state government will be present.

For instance, the Ministry of the Interior is inviting visitors to a tour of the police's situation center, led by State Minister Armin Schuster (CDU). In the courtyard of the Ministry of Environment, the theme is "Living Climate-Aware." State Minister Petra Köpping (SPD) welcomes guests at the Ministry of Social Affairs with information opportunities and presentation stands on health and social issues. The Ministry of Justice offers a glimpse into women's imprisonment and explains the role of juvenile court judges.

Visitors interested in international cooperation may find the Netherlands' perspective at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where State Minister Markus Ulbricht (SPD) shares insights. Additionally, the importance of European solidarity is highlighted in various sessions throughout the day.
