In Bavaria, freshly born individuals are projected to live 78.9 years as males and 83.5 years as females, as per the statistics office in Fürth, Bavarian State Office of Statistics.

At the age of 67, males can anticipate another 16.4 years on average, while females can add another 19.3 years to their lives. This expected life duration has witnessed a minor dip compared to the 2020-2022 mortality data.

However, when contrasted to the initial Bavarian mortality data from 1891-1900, current life expectancy has more than doubled. Since the life expectancy table of 1986-1988, which relied on the 1987 census, the life expectancy for newborn boys has risen from 72.4 years, and for girls from 78.7 years.

Given the current trends, individuals born in Bavaria can expect to surpass the life expectancy figures from the 1986-1988 table, with males living beyond 72.4 years and females surpassing 78.7 years. As a result, the overall improvement in life expectancy since the 1891-1900 period has significantly contributed to a more substantial life expectancy gap between males and females, with women now anticipated to live 8.8 years longer than males.
